Lets change the world!

Bio

Hola! My name is Sara Mora.

No one can tell your story. No one can tell their story. No one can tell my story.

Storytelling is revolutionary.

Sara Mora, also known as Miss Sara Mora, is a storyteller, digital strategist and artist at the intersection of human rights. At the short age of 13 she began her activism in middle school and at her local community organization. In 2014, she interviewed her first time with the former President of Costa Rica about DACA, giving her what would later be her first steps into questioning the status quo on migrant rights. In 2017, after Donald Trump rescinded DACA(a temporary legal status originally aiding 800,000+ undocumented people in the U.S.) Sara stepped harder into her passion for media and human rights and publicly came out as undocumented alongside the runner up for governor of New Jersey. She stopped college in the face of uncertainty to be an organizer full-time. This moment was detrimental and awakening. Her passion for using media and storytelling began to grow and shortly after in 2018 she ran for office and got elected as co-president of Women’s March Youth. This year working with 250+ chapters or dedicated students across the U.S. she poured out her passion for learning to speak out about the power of narrative and being part of mobilizing the largest youth voter turnout during the midterm election. During the middle of her presidency with this national youth organization Sara was selected as a digital strategist to work directly in support on the ground in the U.S. Souther Border where she began to build virtual campaigns to uplift the existing work of migrant rights organizations working the ground. You can actively find her doing this work and hosting active gatherings virtually on social media. You can find her on social media under the same handle, @MissSaraMora.

Hi everyone!

Thank you for reading about my story. THE BIGGEST BATTLE WITH SOCIAL MEDIA IS THAT A STANDING PAGE AND IMAGE REPRESENT WHO WE ARE. FOR THIS REASON, I’VE ALWAYS STRUGGLED WITH WEBSITES BECAUSE FIRST IMPRESSION DETERMINES HOW WE CONNECT ONLINE. i hope that this website serves as a small glimpse and intro into who i am. i welcome you to reach out and to remember that you have all it takes to build a new world within yourself. i hope that you feel open reaching out should i ever be part of helping your journey to change the world and disrupting the status quo. un abrazo grandisimo!

Much love,

Sara
