Currently I am a senior in college studying Political Science and International Comparative Politics. Education has felt impossible because of a need to advocate - panicking in the face of a nation with long history of undecided immigration policy.

Her story…
2 years into Trump admin, Sara sued his administration & won. 4 years after declaring she was undocumented and unafraid before Costa Rican president Guillermo Solis (2014-2018). Now, an influential voice in the fight for migrant rights, a student, speaker/poet and entrepreneur.
Miss Sara Mora advocates for human and migrant rights, sharing her own undocumented story and using the internet to spread messages. Working for the likes of mega-world leading companies like META, Adobe, Levi’s, Old Navy and partnering with influential spaces like the ACLU, Brussels, Belgium Government and recently The King Center. As an activist, speaker, and media strategist, she focuses on storytelling to support migrant rights and create opportunities for undocumented students. Sara created Population MIC, a media platform to encourage conversations about immigration and challenge norms.
During 2014-2017, Sara Mora was involved in community college, mentoring and volunteering for local refugees, advocating for immigrant students, and pursuing her interest in diplomacy and global relations. After earning her International Relations A.A. in 2017, she had to leave college due to changes in DACA policy, becoming a full-time organizer and advocate. Sara's experiences led her to focus on storytelling and digital content creation.
After financial struggle due to DACA ending, Sara worked with community, lobbied, and won lawsuit protecting rights. Focused on empowering migrant stories, countered exploitation, and started campaigns like 'Nuestra Belleza Latina.'
In 2018, Sara became the first Latino co-president of the Women's March Youth branch, worked with Teen Vogue's voter registration campaign, and supports immigrant rights. Known as @MissSaraMora on social media, she mentors young activists and advocates for migrant voices at the California border.
In 2019, Sara supported border communities, studied immigration trends, volunteered for the New Sanctuary Coalition, fundraised for migrant rights. In 2020, she was featured in 'The 2020 Project,' served as a delegate for Eighteen X18, started Legacy Giants series, collaborated with American History Museum on 'Girlhood: It's Complicated,' worked with MTV on Allyship & the BIPOC Experience, hosted Instagram Live sessions, and joined Banana Republic's global campaign. After the pandemic, in 2021, she focused on poetry and writing, joined Reebok Human Rights Award board, did influencer projects, collaborated with a Canadian brand for a global self-love campaign, appeared in an HBO series, and spoke with GIRL BOSS platform. In 2022, she worked with META, We All Grow Latina, and CHISPA, spoke at Louisiana State University. In 2023, she partnered with L’Oreal Paris, RIA Money Transfer App, Ad Council x IMPACT co and returned to university.
